The unseasonably warm January had fooled many of the plants in to thinking Spring had already arrived. The heavy snowfall presented something you don't see very often - flowers in the snow. :)

I loved this shot myself & I'm so glad other people do to.
It's exactly that 'fairy tale' aspect I was trying to convey.
There was something about it, it just looks forlorn & slightly withered in the cold, waiting for some hero to come & rescue it. :)
